Blogging away in front of an internet audience can be quite lonely. Sometimes its good to hear from people who are from the same geographical area. I am from New York city and I was wondering if there are others from this area.

If not then where do you hail from?

"thinking about the possessiveness and attitude New Yorkers seem to have."

hmm It doesn't surprise me you got attitude on a line for a free movie screening. You are not going to be mingling with the higher echelons of NY society at an event like that.

Hey Rozie, I grew up in Bensonhurst. Did you go to school there?
  20. Rozie818
    Went to PS 180
Then Montauk JH, I was one block out of Shallow district
Then FDR, Summer and Night School at New Utrecht.

Hung in Doc's, Talis, Maple Lanes, 18th ave park. 85th st and 21st
Bay 23rd, Kings Highway west 7th. Sethlow Park, Crospy Park.

What about yourself? Where did you go?
    1. nothingprofound
Originally lived on 19th ave & 64th st. and went to PS 205. Spent a lot of time watching movies at the Walker theater.

Then moved and lived on the same block as and went to Sethlow JHS.

Went to Lafayette HS, which is on Cropsey and 23rd Ave.

My older brother went to shallow and New Utrecht.

I spent practically all my teen years playing ball in Sethlow Park and hanging out on Bay Parkway and Kings Highway.

Lafayette HS, my kids went there

Excellent idea for a thread - bloggers from the same region need to know about each other. There's a good chance for finding blogs to exchange links with that way.

I'm in NY State, and my blog covers NY, NJ and PA.
  23. DougP
By the way, I just started looking through the blogs represented on this discussion. A truly strange bunch if I ever saw one.
