    As far as I know the difference between nerd and geek is the appreciation *cough-obsession* of the later for technology, especially technological gadgets. The way I see it, people from engineering sciences are more geeks, and people from the rest of the sciences (including me) are nerds.
    
    I am a big nerd! I like to use some witty T-shirts but you will never see me wearing clashing colors or big glasses. I'm not a big comic fan, but I religiously read phdcomics (www.phdcomics.com), I like Sci-Fi books and shows (Battlestar Galactica was the best) and I try to learn a little about everything ;-).
