I admit I am one of those who like em big. I am talking about blog headers, letters as well as titles. I also like owning bigger cellphones though my forgetfulness made me give up the idea. I love BIG album covers and that is why I love vinyl records. The artists look really that big. I like Bosendorfer pianos because these are huge babies. The same reason why I prefer layered music to acoustic.I love big female voices-those who sound like real women instead of little girls. What about you? Do you like your stuff big or you like it compact and easy to carry around.

I agree. I used to order hamburgers with 3 layers

Mostly compact, except for my music. I have a tiny cell phone, a tiny mp3 player. I like a good jazz trio or indie quartet, but my head (um, ear) is easily turned by a full horn section or some wild instrument combination. As for pianos, I'd love to have a full-size grand with a room in which to play it. At this point, I have to settle for a full-sized electric keyboard on a stand.

Yes the full horn sectin can really have the effect. As for me I like the sound of flugel horns....

    I like compact and functional.

yes these days functionality is important for people on the go.

I like big voices too--and big sounds musically. For example, my favorite sounding guitar (not my favorite guitar to play necessarily) is a 12-string and I love the rich, full sound of it. I tend to like big piano riffs too--and one of the reasons I became interested in playing saxophone is because that instrument also has a big sound.

I also like wearing really high heels, wearing my hair fairly wild and curly, and I love a really big bowl of ice cream!

    Big is beautiful!

I agree. The 12 string guitar has a rich sound. There;s this guy from Los Angeles I met a couple of years ago and he plays the 12-stringed guitar and gets easily drunk. We had to wake him up after dozing off so he could play again. About the sax I have heard what a tenor sax can do.Amazing.

Compact and functional for me. Too small is annoying for certain things though - like little electronic devices that I can't actually read buttons on anymore. One big exception. King size beds. I can't sleep with my partner unless we are in a king bed because he's a thrasher and I'm a light sleeper.

I am not a big fan or really teeny weeny cell phones. My fingers tend to punch other keys.

In some things I like big but in others I prefer small and compact.

    (1) I do not like big blog headers. I hate having to scroll to get to the content and if the header is and advertising banner then I'm clicking out never to return again.

    (2) I have never owned a cell phone but if I did want one would probably choose one with larger numbers I could read easily.

    (3) I love grand pianos, full sized choirs (8 part harmony) and full sized orchestras. I love horns. But I also love acoustic music too.

I love big female voices-those who sound like real women instead of little girls.

    (4) I agree. I dislike listening to sopranos who sound like cheap tin whistles, unless they are accompanied by those who sing the other vocal ranges in harmony with them.

Wow 8-part harmony I'd love that.
      I love this one: www.youtube.com/watch?v=d6idPaGqvV8

LOL that cellphone rocks! That's really big. I wonder if it has text messaging too.

I don't think that even Gordan Gekko had that level of technology back in 1987
    3. celticmusicfan
Well... when i watch Wonder Woman reruns I laugh at the size of computers in those days.
    4. Agit8r
haha, true. and they had less power than an iPhone.
  9. HollytheHousewife
I bought one of those really big remotes the other day for my mother as a gag gift

Compact and easy to carry around. BTW, the Iphone is the biggest, ugliest monstrosity of a cell phone invented this century.

and yet still they are tossing people off buildings to protect their trade secrets
    2. celticmusicfan
I guess people love it because they can watch music videos and stuff on it which is kind of impractical anyway. There's the laptop!

I like small laptops and handphones but when it comes to my bed King Size it is.
    1. celticmusicfan
Oh yeah nothing beats a big soft bed. I remember we had TV ads here showing these big Salem beds and they had to let elephants step on it to show how durable they are lol.
