I just started using tweeter because it would be easy to update wile walking across America. I only have 60 followers and it sends about 20 views a day to my blog. I do not follow someone unless I want to read the persons updates. I think it is stupid to follow someone just to get them to follow you.
Do you use Twitter?
What do you Tweet about?
How much traffic does Twitter send to your blog?
Why should I follow you?

I just open an account on twitter my tweeter name is "icrowndk" ...I just wonder why I was automatically given 24people to follow without my wishess to follow them. I have 4people now. I am also given some so many secret site...But I don't have time to open them.
Well at present I am still on My cold stale wall. I still prefer the conservative way of posting your unsolicited personal comment on my website. -
I now have 34 followers. One of them is liveireland.com a Dublin based radio station that plays Celtic music

Twitter is perfect if you are on the road. I have been travelling through Europe for a few months as a supporter in a footrace and it was an ideal way to update where we were, how things were going, announce new blogpost and add pictures.
But is was also ideal to stay updated about what was going on at home. And there was one friend who updated weather reports of the places we where going or interesting information about those places. That was ideal because I did not have much time to surf the web (and not always a good internet connection) and that way that was very instant information I could click.
For that purpose I used a different Twitteraccount where I indeed did not follow anyone automatically, as for my other accounts, in general, I do. Then I have the time to follow more close what is interesting and retweet more. And I can use tweetdeck, so there is a filter to the updates.
But on the road, things are different and I can see that you do not want to follow unless you really want to read those tweets. -
BC has a large twitter group with 1,795 members. Although link exchanges aren't allowed on the BC forums they are allowed in groups at BC.
Follow people. Be followed. Tell people why you Twitter. Alternatives to Twitter. What to expect from Twitter. Anything "Twitter" goes.

On a personal note, do be aware that everyone and his dog is trying to capitalize on twitter broadcast range and on how to make money on twitter. There are many sites that are sending out robot armies to become your "followers". There are other you can join and purchase followers through. There are some where you can join free of charge and secure many followers, provided you are willing to spend time every day clicking on a specified number of advertisements by sponsors of the site you join. -
I started using twitter recently and it has been a huge success. What is your twitter ID? Shuttercraft?

i'm a twitter user! i was against it for a long time, but i finally joined when i started being in the hospital a lot... there was no internet access for me to update friends via blogger or facebook, so i use twitter to give treatment updates in realtime...
when i'm out of the hospital, i just tweet about life... i've gotten some good feedback from the few followers i have. i don't really think twitter brings any traffic to my blog, but i kind of use it as a mobile extension/supplement to my blog.
