Are you addicted to your computer?

I sometimes find that I really have to intervene w/ myself and tell myself 'no im not using the computer today' because it really takes a lot of time away from my 'actual' life... quality things that I could be doing instead.
What are your thoughts? Do you feel this way sometimes?

My career IS the computer... So yeah, I have to be addicted to be paid.. lol -
In order to try to be legitimate, I ask you to define "Addiction" first. -
Let’s just say that I am not responsible for anything I do after I hear,
“Welcome, you got mail”… after that, it’s hard keep track of time.
Heck, I have felt the sun come up and down a few times behind me before I even noticed I skipped a day. -
My day is not complete without using computer. -
no not really........but we do need it almost all the times....man without ccomputer is just like fish without water. -
It is 6 a.m. and I am sitting at my computer so I must be a bit overly interested in my computer. -
You know there's a firefox add-on called ROBOT
That robot saves my day. And these days I'm not much into computer

I work using a computer, I relax using a computer, I get my news via a computer, communicate with friends via a computer.
Not addicted, but computers are a huge part of everyday life, and as such it is a tool just as any other. Could I live without - sure - but I could also live without having a television, phone, cars - but I don't. That doesn't mean I'm addicted to having a phone. -
Well, by addicted I mean it interferes with other parts of life that could make you feel better about yourself. Like going for walks, talking the time out to do anything else, the ability to put the computer away and spend time with your wife or girlfriend, start new projects that aren't computer related, like home improvement, a new hobby, like hockey, clean the house, go out and have fun...
I have a hard time no getting sucked into the computer addiction, but thankfully, I have a wife that helps me address it and improve my life as a whole.
It's not healthy to spend all of your time on the computer, I promised myself that Id only go on right after work and alittle before I go to bed... so far so good, but I've tried before and ended up spending hours upon hours on here.

I'm on my computer a lot, but its what I enjoy doing, but I make sure to have a social life too because that's how I stay a well rounded person! -

The computer has become my actual life. I now exist only somewhere between the ones and zeros. When I leave my screen and venture out - like to Walmart or something - no one recognizes me or says hello. I hand my groceries to an automated beep. I return to my screen and find I was answered. -

wel, i might say it is true! why? it's because this is the only thing to get more money in the easiest way..this is a great job wherein ur just surfing on the net without exerting more effort as compared to the workers they need to undergone rigid tranings just to earn more money. that's why spending on the computer is a big deal for me!.. -

I think yes, I'm in front of my laptop and got online bout 14-18 hours/day :):)
