Well, we are now fast approaching halloween and many people will be grooming their pumpkin in readiness for carving the traditional pumkpin lantern.
This is a three part discussion.
The first question is "Are you going to carve a pumpkin face this year?"
The second question is "What do you do with the Pumkpin flesh and seeds once it has been scooped out?" This year will be my first year at attempting to carve my own pumpkin and would be greatful of some ideas for cooking the leftovers.
The final part of this discussion is to request that anybody who is carving their pumpkin this year, please be welcome to post a photo of the result here, or link to your blog and post a photo on your blog. It would be great to see all of your efforts.
Best wishes as always, Graham

Unfortunately, the weather has been so wet this year that pumpkins are in short supply in the UK. However, I am already on the lookout for a pumpkin to create my masterpiece. I would appreciate any tips that you may have as this year is my first attempt.
Many thanks
Graham

Unfortunately yes. I will be carving a pumpkin. My kids will demand it. (I am a lazy SOB). I'll probably throw away the innards. I have cooked the pumpkin seeds with salt in the past, but I hate the texture of them. It's like chewing salted cardboard.
I have to admit I was happy to hear on the news recently that there may be a shortage of pumpkins this year due to weather issues. And I refuse to pay top price for a gourd.
Good luck and enjoy! -
