It is not problem with me. It's either you keep it or you flaunt it. If someone asks me what's my age I tell them i am 14 years old.
    1. dialoguewithyou
      Wow! interesting
  2. nothingprofound
Yes,on my good days, when I can remember.

    (This isn't one of them.)
  3. chicky401
I share my age with people. It doesn't bother me. I tell people if I am as old as I act I need a booster seat and if I am as old as I feel, there are days I need my rocking chair

I'm not at all concerned about stating my age to folks I meet face-to-face. I rather like the fact that I have always appeared to be younger than my chronological age. The truth is that I'm vain and I ♥ it when people are surprised to hear my age ... lol
However, I don't state my specific age online. I simply state I'm in my 50's. I have previously been stalked, but the primary reason I give no hard and fast DOB and location specifics and use different ones at every social network I join is for protection from identity theft.

      good points
  5. PeacefulWmn9
    Very comfortable
  6. JoelKlebanoff
I'm 56. I'm so comfortable telling you my age that I have to go take a nap now. Unfortunately, that's about the only thing that I'm comfortable with in life.
  7. Annette12
im comfortable with telling my age because it doesnt bother me and i dont really look like im that age anyway
  8. PamelaGifford
Ha! I really don't care if people know I'm 31. When I was 29 though, I made sure to tell people, "Yes, I'm really 29." because so many of them thought I was knocking a year or two off for vanity. Age is only a number.

However, according to a certain Facebook quiz, I act 43, though. *shrug*

      wow! great to meet you

I'm 43 and I'm not shy about it. I like the gray in my hair, and I'm happy to be a grandma while I'm young enough to enjoy it. But people IRL are often very surprised to learn my age. Several people at my current company have told me that they took me to be about 30 when I started working there three years ago.

I'm proud of my age and overcoming the struggles that came with it.
  11. Men101
Nope can't recall ever feeling offended. I feel so young though.
  12. cindygeenotes
I lie about my age all the time. I tell people I'm older than I really am... :-)
  13. Friday13
Yes, I'm very comfortable with telling people that I'm 18.
  14. thetravellingteddi
The truth is, i'm 2 years old! See, very comfortable
  15. SweetViolet
No problem with telling my age but sometimes reluctant to tell my husband's as he is much younger than I am. People can be very judgmental and make some awfully crude assumptions...
  16. thetravellerreturns
yes i am, even more so that my girlfriend is 9 years yonnger
    1. SweetViolet
I would probably tell if he was just 9 years younger...
  17. freshtunesfinland
Sometimes working with older people it's easier to let people assume things about your age, than actually stating the exact numbers. People so often see age and how capable you are in a business context as something that go hand in hand. Not that I don't, experience comes with age, but in the music industry being younger than 30 can often come in handy.
  18. jafabrit
It isn't an issue with me but I can understand there are circumstances where it is.
  19. SomeMuslimMan
I've no problem because as Mark Twain said: "Age is an issue of mind over matter. If you don't mind, it doesn't matter."

Anyway what's important is whehter the person is being mature or not. I've of months ago on this topic over my blog in the post entitled "Grow Up".

      excellent point

If youth lives by hope, and the aged by memories... telling your age means telling your story.
Nobody can understand this big world unless listening somebody else's story. True?
  21. Theresa111
    I like being Five!
    1. timethief
        I ♥ your answer.
      • SomeMuslimMan
If only we could halt at this age
      • timethief
I intend to stay young forever. Don't you? lol ...
    2. janizarzagon
I'm 25 years old and very comfortable with it. Besides, we can't deny the fact that we are getting older.
    3. mademoiselleparis
      I am 16 with 10 years of experience ! (thats 26 for ya )
    4. liggybee
I have no problem with it -- hey, I'm already 41! But I don't feel like it at all and people say I don't look it either. So to me, age really doesn't mean a thing. It's how you feel about yourself that matters.
    5. liaochiling
I have no problems revealing my true age.
    6. dexed
When asked i wouldnt lie, i'ld just rather smile nd avoid the question or tell the person. Why? Every single person i've told my age think am lying, they always believe am older.
    7. OnlineBlogger
No problems talking about my age. Currently 23 and enjoying it.

In my opinion you can't judge a person simply by their age. I believe we've all heard of child geniuses
    8. sorcerer
yes,, its a we survived aint we?
    9. lordiwanttobewhole
Oh, I am happy with my age...I've earned these years. I state my age without hesitation. I am almost 38
    10. calais50
I will never be one of these vain people who mind telling their age. I am 31.
    11. Zpoet
Yes, in fact I announce it right on my blog!!!! I've never understood really, why people are uncomfortable with it. It is what it is, and hiding it isn't going to change anything. I also laugh when people say they're younger than they are...because then people look at them and think, "Gee, they sure look OLD for that age!" HA!!!! My Dad always said that women should say they're older than they are, so then people will say, "Gee, you look GREAT!"
    12. sjtavo
I have no problem with it - I am 35 and look about 28 most days LOL My age is more of how I feel, not a number. so yes - today, I turned 35 - as my ex-husband emailed me this morning, five more years and I get to be a Cougar! LOL
    13. scf
      I'm 57 and 3/4's.
    14. supergreensunbear
25 myself. It only seems to be those who don't want to be treated differently for their age who do feel uneasy, which is understandable. Though at the same time kinda sad, that society, or their view of it, makes them feel that way.
    15. trailofpen
If they ask me, then I ask them to guess. Then I tell them my real age, which is usually a surprise to them. People mistake me for being the younger brother of my younger brother.
      1. carsonfb
Kool-Aid man has been an adult since I was in grade school, so I would have to guess that you are at least in your 40's. Unless, of course you are not really Kool-Aid man.
    16. dadangsulaeman
      no problem for me..
and not have to lie to talk it
    17. ToughCookieMommy
I am very comfortable telling people my age because I think that getting older is a blessing. Having the opportunity to be around for many years, with your loved ones, should be celebrated.
    18. HollytheHousewife
      Yes...but only for one more year...after 30 it's all downhill...so I've heard
    19. HollytheHousewife
I'm more scared of turnin 30 rather than 40
    20. crazyTsu
30's is beautiful! 30's is the Freedom, Independence, New Abilities and Confidence decade
      1. HollytheHousewife
It's still old tho... I don't wanna not be young and spunky...my mother would have a cow if I was still doing cartwheels at 30...so unrefined, haha
      2. crazyTsu
No matter where you are, how you are, you will never stop loving yourself
    21. runningshoes

    26. LGramlich
I have no problem with it. I'll be 42 on Tuesday.
    27. Selbon
      I'm proud to be 51.
    28. NurhoGirl
I tell people my age because usually they're surprised how much older I carry myself versus my real age.
