I usually always cook a big dinner for Thanksgiving and am blogging some of my usual side dishes. I was wondering what kinds of dishes you all like or dislike and do you cook, eat out, or eat at friends and family's house?

If it weren't for my mother cooking I would be eating turkey flavored ramen

We're going to the in-laws for Thanksgiving. I really love mashed potatoes (the way my mom fixes them) and pumpkin bread. The Waldorf salad is good, too. Celery, on the other hand, should be used sparingly. (DaniG hates celery.)

Thanks for the reminder, I haven't had Waldorf salad in years...might make that.
I'm gonna post a roasted garlic mashed potato recipe this week, the best I've ever tasted. Wondering how your Mom makes 'em.
