There's been a bit of a firestorm, lately, over the failure of Google's "nofollow" failing to deter blog comment and trackback spam and punishing worthy commentators and links. Good comments and trackbacks should be followed by GoogleBot in order to establish authority and PageRank relationships between blogs.

WordPress and many other blogging platforms automatically add "nofollow" to links in comments and trackbacks. You can get plugins for WordPress that allow for GoogleBot to follow links in comments and trackbacks. This has become known as dofollow. I've just implemented them on my own blog.

Anyone have any plans to implement "dofollow"?
