Hi, I want to know if Commission Junction works for you. If so which advertiser perform the best for your blog? Do you have any tips to give to the new publisher?

I've been trying to keep with ShareAsale for commissions, given that I'm so heavily into affiliates on HARTmarket.com // The thing is though, I haven't been promoting that domain or its subdomains and not earning any commissions. It's on my todo list for 2008.

It works for me, better than adsense. Not much money though, at 100 or so vistors per day I don't expect that....yet. CJ has the most reputable advertisers as far I as I can tell, which is nice if you want your blog to look professional. Another thing I like is that you can have rotating ads. CJ also has a vast array of different ad formats, so it's easy to integrate an ad into your post or site.

I like it because it has a lot of advertisers. I have made a little over $100 so far thanks to friends that bought some merchandise from my links

I've made absoluely nothing from commission sales. I would make more money from advertising because I make clickthroughs, not sales. Any suggestions for good adnetworks.

We've been with CJ and Linkshare for years, all toll between them I'd say $1000.00
I think the way to work (which we did and got tired of) is to pick something and open a site around it. We had a flower site and sold flowers and gifts for 15% commission. Once you have it set up and if you promote you could probably do well with the right items.
Keep in mind, if you clicks and sales slow CJ will close you down, so don't put a lot of work into it if your not gonna promote like we did.

Well, I'm experimenting an another way to promote their ads. I'm running right now a rotation of their ads, so I will not only focus on one affiliate but many at the same times. I hope to see good result that way

It works for me, too. And I use mostly leads for free stuff from CJ. But some per sale, too.

Been w/ cj.com for almost 7 years. Have their banners all over my web site. Maybe make $100/mo average w/ this company.

How do affiliates get around the checkout page issue. What I mean is that the affiliate directs the surfer to a vendor website. They do their surfing, put an item in the shopping cart. Go back to the affiliate page and select a different item. The shopping cart is lost? This is a general question, not specific to Commission Junction. I've never used C.J.

I signed up, but than it told me I had to print out a form and snail mail it to them, but I don't have a printer, so no way to print it up. Don't know when I'll be able to sign up now.
