In many respects, this has been a rotten week. I won't bore with the details, but suffice it to say that it's the anniversary of the death of my grandfather, who was important to me:

However, I have an image in my mind - perhaps from a dream - of myself being the one who was in the grave, and my grandfather reaching out his hand to me to pull me out. I forget where I heard it, but the phrase, "I am dead, but yet I live" echoes out to me.

Yes, I try to remain chipper although last week was a tough one physically. There wasn't a day went by I wasn't in pain, joint aches, blister on foot, tennis elbow, LOL! pretty pathetic. But it seems I have to get used to this aspect of getting into middle age, bwaaaaaaaa!
Everything else is GREAT though, artwork coming along, show coming along (curating an exhibit next month) enjoying family and friends, life in general. Weather has been mild and wonderful, and I enjoy my walking (when a blister doesn't intrude).
