    It is Friday and I am great. My hubby will be here all weekend to be with the kids and I get a little time off.

    Feeling pretty anxious about our economy. Going out to the garden to work it off.

      well it happens to me now,although i've never expected it like this. in the middle confusion now,so obviously not ok

    I'm not feeling that great. I'm experiencing a full blown fibomyalgia flare-up that's in its second week now, and that's very unusual for me at this time of year.

      aah Im sorry too hear this! Take it easy and get well soon!!
    2. Floormodel
      I'm sorry to hear that TT. you're in my thoughts.

      I wonder if that's what I have. It runs in the family so it might be a possibility. Whatever it is I haven't had a day where I am not aching and in pain. Such a drag. So I empathize and hope you feel better soon.
    4. timethief
      Thanks to all of your for your concern.

      @jafabrit
      There are others in my family who also have this syndrome that has been known by several other names over the past years, including soft tissue rheumatism, fibrositis and non-articular rheumatism.

      Common symptoms include pain and swelling in many joints or soft tissues, trouble sleeping, fatigue and weakness, poor memory, trouble concentrating, stiffness in joints and muscles particularly in the morning, inability to stand the cold, sensitivities to certain foods, medications and/or allergens, depression, tension and migraine headaches.

      You could say that I know quite a bit about this disease as it’s had me in it’s grips for 20 years. Simply put, fibromyalgia won’t kill you, but you will die with it. It doesn’t favor anyone … it affects men, women, and children of all ages and races. We live every day, hoping for a cure, praying our families can continue to cope with having to help us live with our invisible disabilities. There is really no definitive cause, and there’s no cure, so coping it what we focus on.

      Now that the health care community understands the mechanisms of this disease they do have treatments that have proven to help sufferers reduce and cope with their pain.
      You will likely need:
      * physical therapy
      * occupational therapy
      * acupuncture/acupressure
      * relaxation/biofeedback techniques
      * osteopathic manipulation
      * chiropractic care
      * therapeutic massage
      * gentle exercise program

      I do have a post on my blog thistimethisspace .com that may be helpful to you. It's titled: Coping with Fibromyalgia. I also have a category on my blog: Fibromyalgia you may want to check out.

      ((hugs)) Get better! (that's an order BTW)

      @Shirley
      Thanks and {{HUGs}} for you too.
    7. mugshot
      TT I hope your feeling alot better soon, I didnt know what it was so I went on the Big G and read up....it seems to me that it is something that would be difficult to control and deal with when having an episode so my thoughts are with you at this time.
    8. timethief
      @mugshot
      I've been coping with this syndrome for many years now and I appreciate your kind words. It's difficult to deal with but there are many people in the world who have even worse health conditions than I do.
  5. TJlubrano
    I'm doing okay, I've been sick the last few days. Luckily, it's getting better.
    1. ChampDog
      Luckily is not H1N1.
    2. TJlubrano
      I know!! It's quite scary tho, for every little sickness thingy my mind goes...'It's not....no it can't be!'
  6. Floormodel
    I'm okey-dokey. off for a fun day of estate sales and an auction. but I got promised breakfast first so I'm almost giddy.
  7. Epicharis
    I'm good...apart from the bruised coccyx which is rather painful
    1. TJlubrano
      Get well soon! Perhaps you need to stop stalking for while
    2. Epicharis
      it's the damn dog's fault! pulled me down a hill and I fell bang onto my backside! Why the hell do people own pets? they are hassle and expense and you can't even converse with them!
    3. TJlubrano
      Aah how annoying!! Unfortunately the only reason I don't have a pet, is because my mom would act panicky and start running around. I own a few pets from afar and when I try to converse they just walk away mid sentence...how rude is that!
  8. footiam
    You are ok, I am ok!
  9. noodlemie
    today is not ok,the net provider having some problem and i cant connect for half day..its really annoying since i want to check the email and blogs.
  10. Shiley
    I'm pretty good. Sore here and there but it's all good. My house has a roof!
    1. timethief
      Your house has a roof -- yay! I'm so happy to hear that.
    2. Shiley
      Yup! It needs shingles before we can work inside. In the past year Habitat has gone green too. Yay!
    3. noodlemie
      wow thats nice for you..
  11. melindaville
    This reminds me of a tee shirt that I had in the 1970's that said, "I'm Okay and You're a Dink"

    It was in response to that stupid book, "I'm okay, You're okay"
    1. noodlemie
      well,i've never read that stupid book u said,since i was sincerely asking to people who would spend their little time in this thread. and pardon me you are not answering the question in the end.
    2. timethief
      @noodlemie
      OOPS! you have 2 duplicate threads going here. Here's the link to the other one www.blogcatalog.com/discuss/entry/are-you-ok
    3. noodlemie
      @timethief
      yup,i actually plan only one,but as i make the first thread,it didn't appear in the forum,so maybe i make something wrong,and so i re-type again the thread,and in the end both of them appeared.and im also confuse.i actually want to delete one of them,but i cant do it
    4. timethief
      No problem. What happens is that a thread usually only stays on the front page for an hour or so if there aren't many comments. This thread was on the second page which is why you did not find it.

      Take a look at the sidebar. In the 4th spot down you see:
      More Discussions From noodlemie
      www.blogcatalog.com/discuss/user/noodlemie
      Click that link and you will find every thread you have posted to the forum (with the exception of any that Admin deleted).

      Now look further down the sidebar and you will see the Discussion searchbox. Type in your username "noodlemie" and select "By Username" drop the drop down menu, and then click "search".
      www.blogcatalog.com/discuss/search/user/noodlemie
      These are all the comments you have ever posted into forum threads.

      There you go. Now you know how to find the Discussion threads that you have posted. And you know how to find the comments you have posted into Discussion threads on the forum.

      I hope this helps you and everyone else watching in the sidebar as I type this too.
    5. noodlemie
      @timethief.
      i find out about it yesterday night,and some people already comment on each thread.i was thinking if i only focus on one thread the other will have less attention,the problem is some people still put on the other thread.u have any suggestion to eliminate one of thread?

      and if i re-read the comment what use i shall get from it?since i cant do anything to change it.i only want help from the admin to delete one of the thread,cause i dont want people to think im stupid enough to do this thing to get attention
    6. timethief
      Well you could post into the other thread saying something like -

      Oops! I accidentally started two identical threads. Please do not post into this one members. Please post into the other thread. Here's the link to it (and then supply the link to this thread we are in now.)

      If you want to take that a step further you could wait until Monday and then send a PM to Jaybetee in his shoutbox supplying him with the link to the thread you want him to please lock, and explaining why (duplicate thread).

      I don't believe anyone will think you are stupid. We all make mistakes and IMO it's really not a big deal. In the forums I moderate I lock and move and delete threads every day.

      Please don't be upset.
    7. noodlemie
      ok.thanks timethief.but the thread will go up again.anyway,i'll do as u say.
    8. timethief
      If you want you can follow my advice, which you asked for. But if you don't want to do anything at all that's okay too. It's up to you. Not to worry.
    9. noodlemie
      i already do as u suggested,unfortunately i dont know how to make a link as you,and the procedure to report to the admin.so, i wish the admin will do it without me telling them.or you would do that i dont mind,after all you know better about all this than i do.
