Are you Rich?

I know when asked,"Are you rich?" most of us would say "NO".
But I often wonder, everyone's definition of being 'rich' definitely varies.
What according to you makes a person 'Rich'?

I'm rich in contentment...that's if the missus leaves me alone to blog in peace.
Maybe if I told her that I will get rich by blogging, she would leave me alone for all eternity.-

3. Having a sense of humor in life goes a long way - human beings take themselves too seriously in this short life. -
Yes, Kahlil Gibron puts it nicely when he writes about marriage, in his famous little book, "The Prophet." It is one of my favorite books ever.
Be like a lute. each one an separate string with their own sound but when played together make beautiful music.
This is only a loose interpretation of his words. Please google him and look it up in his book. You will not be disappointed! -
I've read only half of "The Prophet" - I put the book down and decided to be a prophet of my own doing.

I feel gratitude for what I have. I make a good living and probably waste more money than I should. I don't save for rainy days, unfortunately, I enjoy my money on sunny days, buying trinkets for others and eating out at a lovely restaurant. I do give as much as I can to others, that is truly gratifying.
I feel rich really because of the people who are in my life and I feel blessed because of the attitude I have aquired because of my journey. -
Rich to me has nothing to do with money - are my little family and I happy?, healthy?, serving?, sharing?, laughing? - as a single parent I live day to day financially BUT my heart is full of gratitude for all the wonderful blessings that make our life Rich.-

I'm with you on this one. Many people lament about how poor they are and wish for wealth. They mentality goes something like this (I've heard plenty from too many people), "If I was rich, I wouldn't be working here" or "if I was rich, all my problems would go away".

Yes, I give all of the time and my giving makes me rich. Only stingy people do not give or share and they are not rich at all.

First of all I am more that satisfied with what I posses, making money is not my priority in life. It is how I use my time to gain new experiences and be good to my family and friends. That is the source of my richness -

I'm in between.
Compared to 3rd world countries I am a multi billionaire.
Compared to Donald Trum - I'm a slug beneath his shoe...
Right now money is tight - the world is very very tight - no extras - no fun toys - no buying anything but the bare necessities at all - not being able to afford medicines that keep me out of pain.
BUT - my bills are paid - I have internet - I have cable television and a big screen tv... I have a roof over my head - and I have 2 cars (hopefully selling one today!)
And I have my wonderful Hubby - and a bright outlook - and we eat good - and we have everything we really need...
Just nothing extra.
So knowing that --- then I would say I AM RICH.
I am lucky, blessed, happy and well - life is fun!
It's not Rockefeller Plaza - but it is home - and I love it. -
I'm rich as long as I'm happy. -

To me being rich is when you think of something you want and you kno getting it is not impossible.
@wagerwitch, not every1 in 3rd world countries are poor, in my country their are lots of legit millionaires and billionaires. -

My answer to that question is Yes - I am rich.
Being rich doesn't mean having loads of money or real-estate etc to me. Loving family, great friends, amazing job that you love to do and just loving your life - that's what richness is to me. -
I have the promise of Abraham. God's grace is upon me.

I am rich in thought, spirituality, love and friendship. What more can a woman ask for? -
I was poor financially before getting married recently. Now I am blessed with the best husband in the world who just happens to be rich. I would be with him even if he were poor though.
That being said, my true riches are my children, my husband, and my family.
