    Just wait until Tuesday. I loved his music. It is nice seeing him get good coverage for a change.

    I think he is getting more coverage is because for all these past years the media has been abusing him. Not that he has past away, the media is trying to make up for all the shit talking they had done before.

    I am not sick of it, I am still trying to get use to the idea that he’s gone as I still can’t believe it.

    You can like him as an entertainer without making him a hero of yours. That's something that requires much more than the ability to sing and dance well.

    I'm not a huge fan, so I've ignored most of the coverage. I'm a little concerned about the memorial on Tuesday. I have to drive to L.A. that day and apparently everything is going to be shut down that day.

    More than anything, I'm sick of seeing this guy talking about Michael Jackson.

    "He was a hero to me too"

    How could you consider a child molester to be a hero ?
  9. TheHeathen
    Musically he was a hero. I completely separate his music from his life, because his life was a very strange one. Although the child molester thing was never proven, there was that scandal piled on top of the tons of other ones, like his plastic surgery.

      @TheHeathen

      Thanks for your clarification...I would agree that Michael Jackson was one of the most musically talented Earthlings of all time...

      Other than that in my opinion Jacko disgraced his family, his mentors and his fans...

    no because I decided to quit watching tv news for a while. whenever something like this happens all other news goes by the wayside and the tv newsertainment becomes obsessed.

    Michael Jackson was a huge icon, arguably the biggest pop star of all time. His death came from nowhere, and it shocked a lot of people. I think keeping the world up to date on his funeral details, tour details, album details etc is totally necessary and as a fan I appreciate it.

    However, the coverage on things like his drug use, his "secret home life" and so on is simply to sell headlines and it's really disrespectful. THAT is what I'm tired of.

    It got old and boring very fast.

    BTW if you had a change of heart and want to read something about Michael you can visit edition.cnn.com/SPECIALS/2009/michael.jackson.remembered/

      YES! I'm sick and tired of hearing about his life from people who never met him. His music is available online and that's enough for me. Too bad it isn't enough for those people (fans) who turn other people into idols and worship them.

    I am not sick at all. He was a great star, I think it's ok if people want to honor him, however he is the king of pop. He did create great musics
