I recently started using FeedBurner for my RSS feeds. Since then, I've noticed that BC is not updating correctly. I think I have my Blogger settings correct, but I can see the inserted autodiscovery code in the header is wrong. Seems you cannot manually insert or change the autodiscovery code either.
Feedburner original feed: www.ruinousright.com/rss.xml
Blogger site feed URL: feeds.feedburner.com/ruinousright
Blogger site feed path: blank (perhaps this is my problem)
Header code:
[ link rel="alternate" type="application/atom+xml" title="Ruinous Right - Atom" href="http://feeds.feedburner.com/ruinousright" / ]
[ link rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml" title="Ruinous Right - RSS" href="http://feeds.feedburner.comrss.xml" / ]
* Brackets used so it would display here.
My URL: www.ruinousright.com

typically, you can leave your blogger autodiscovery tags alone. if you put your feedburner URL in the feed redirect setting in blogger, it should redirect for you.
To get BC to find the new feed, you may want to goto your listing and click the UPDATE MY RECENT POST link, then click the Rediscover my feed button. -
i would actually suggest taking out the line:
[ link rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml" title="Ruinous Right - RSS" href="http://feeds.feedburner.comrss.xml" / ]
as thats pointing to a whole lot of nothing and thats what BC is picking up. once you remove that, rediscover your feed and we should pick up the correct one.-
Yes. The code above does not show in the template and only shows up once the code is published.
I originally tried adding the autodiscovery code manually to the template when I first discovered the problem. It did not show up. I then noticed the incorrect URL being inserted by Blogger once published. Blogger seems to hang now whenever I re-publish or post anything new. I can see the code has been updated on my blog, but Blogger never shows me the publish confirmation screen and the wheel just spins.
Either something I did confused the system or Blogger is simply experiencing problems at the moment. I'll give it some time and then try some other ideas.
Thanks for the help.

I did that, but URL that is getting passed is feeds.feedburner.comrss.xml
I'm not sure why Blogger is inserting that code. Should I have something in the Blogger site feed path field? -
And the feed url appears on my profile as : angiesrecipes.blogspot.com/http://feeds.feedburner.com/AngiesRecipes/-
try pasting this URL into your browser's location bar and you shoud see what the problem is:
angiesrecipes.blogspot.com/http://feeds.feedburner.com/AngiesRecipes/
it probably needs to be just: feeds.feedburner.com/AngiesRecipes/
