Hello!
I recently added my blog to blogcatalog and have been unable to notify the community of my recent posts. I currently have both of the correct tags for RSS feed and ATOM feed:
<link rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml"
title="RSS Feed for theamphoraproject.com"
href="http://www.theamphoraproject.com/wp-rss.php" />
<link rel="alternate" type="application/atom+xml"
title="ATOM Feed for theamphoraproject.com"
href="http://www.theamphoraproject.com/wp-atom.php" />
Both my girlfriend and I are completely stumped. We've both tried searching and searching for people with similar problems, but maybe we aren't looking hard enough.
Does anyone know what may be the problem?
Thank you in advance

How to update your most recent posts
(1) On your BC profile page click the title of your blog.
(2) When that page loads look in the sidebar, find Update Recent Posts and click it.
(3) When that page loads locate and click the button that's labeled Update My Recent Posts.
(4) Your request is now in the queque and you will see that noted.
Information found when clicking the BC help link found at the bottom of every BC page www.blogcatalog.com/help/
BlogCatalog uses Autodiscovery to determine your Blog's RSS Feed and crawl your site for recent posts. If your autodiscovery tags are not properly set up, or your feed is invalid, your most recent posts will not show up on your blog listing.
Common Issues:
Check your autodiscovery tags. If your autodiscovery tags are missing, pointing to a dead URL, or redirecting improperly, BlogCatalog will not be able to index your feed.
If using FeedBurner, make sure you have the 'Event Feed' setting disabled. We will only index feeds that are in reverse chronological order.
If using Blogger/BlogSpot, make sure your site feed redirection settings are set up properly. If you are not using a third-party service to process your feed make sure the 'Post Feed Redirect URL' field is left blank.
For best results, make sure your feed is output in either RSS 2.0 or Atom 1.0 format.

msolberg80:
I fixed my issue. This was my original feed url:
www.theamphoraproject.com/feed/rss/
However, after lots of trial and error, I figured out what I needed to do was remove the ../rss/ extension and change it to the following:
www.theamphoraproject.com/feed/
However, this once again created some problems. For some reason, the last slash was a bit problematic. So, in order for it to finally work, I changed my feed URL to the following:
www.theamphoraproject.com/feed
Now my recent posts are correctly updated. Just needed to fix some really, really picky problems. -

At the bottom of every BC page you will find a contact link www.blogcatalog.com/contact/ But please be sure that you have followed the instructions found at the help link and set up your feed properly at your end before you contact Admin.

@amphora, I will try to actually move my feed to a catalogue and set the url to /feed . I will probably do this tonight, will let you know how it worked!
@timethief, I have tried this email adress, actually 2 weeks ago now, and either they are not checking their mail or else it´s probably too many mail to answer. -
Hi, the solution was not any of the things we have discussed. My feed was actually missing a timestamp per post. So when that was fixed, it just popped up after searching for recently added posts.
