Topics: bloggers unite, blogging against abuse
Some members are asking whether we made a difference by Blogging Against Abuse.
Jos, a BC member, says his post Bloggers Against Abuse: Kids and Alcohol has made it to appear on CNN Health, thanks to Sphere.
JOS says that "judging by the amount of traffic this is getting, it is creating an extra bit of awareness for the problem.
And wasn't this the whole idea behind the BlogCatalog Challenge: Bloggers Against Abuse? If there is only 1 person in the world that reads this post and gets inspired to make a concrete contribution to a better world, then I am happy to have participated in this."

Its great to see the media sites starting to notice, Im supprised many more havent.
Do we have any figures yet on what donations e.t.c. were made-
Rich is compiling analytics. He is a fanatic about measuring results. He will post them here and on his blog.
Really though we will never know how much good came out of what we did. Is there one less child or elderly person suffering, an animal whose life was spared, an abused spouse who left and got help.
We will never know the specifics though we can be sure that lives were changed for the better.

Whooppss.. I can take no credit for this. It was the right tags that got the message into Sphere Related Content. Just a lucky shot...
