As I was looking at some people on blogcatalog, I noticed there are users who spend lots of time looking for friends that have a certain demographic. Partically, sexy woman.

Just caught my attention and is quite funny.

Not me. I don't trust those avatars. Some are embellished. The others belong to another person. But I agree there are a lot of attractive ladies here but it's just a bonus. I am attracted to bloggers who write well...

As a lot of those really sexy avatars are used for money making blogs, I imagine you might see a bunch of them together on a Friends list as these money making blogs all network together.

Just a guess, anyway...

Whats wrong with liking to look at something nice? I have to say, all my male real life friends, even my gay homies are pretty darn attractive and so are all my girlfriends. I didn't seek them out of course, but it never hurts to find your friends "bone-able".

I don't care what anyone looks like. It's what's inside that counts and if that isn't so pretty... It does drive me up a wall though when a female avatar turns out to be a guy. I've been thrown off a few times by this.

I look just like my avatar in RL.

As for BC "Friends," their avatar doesn't make a difference to me at all. I just assume you're all guys anyway. Females on the internet is an urban legend AFAIK.
