Wordpress baby. BUT I use Blogger. My money making Blog is over at blogger right now. My personal one is at Wordpress. Blogger gives users more freedom when it comes to monetizing your blog, but that's only if you don't want to purchase your DOMAIN name. I have my domain but I registered it as a website, so right now as soon as I can I will invest on my own BLog Domain for Vapaeso. In the meantime free services are the $%^&!

    Wordpress of course.

    Wordpress is

    - Free
    - Widely supported by lots of people
    - Has tons of free addons (plugins)

So if you're looking for a CMS.. go for wordpress.

No doubt about Wordpress. I had a blog there in Blogspot earlier, but I shifted soon. Blogspot got canonical problems.
I have written a post on why I left Blogspot and it can be found here moredoubts.wordpress.com/2007/02/28/why-i-left-blogspot/

why not have a self hosted wordpress platform instead of wordpress.com?
  5. crkian
I use selfhosted wordpress, only one I have tried

I've played around with a few of'em, but I think self-hosted Wordpress is the best thing since sliced bread!

i like blogger for mass production of blogs, like if I were to dominate a specific niche on the web, just because it's free, and google likes em a lot. plus, I think it's easier to understand.

in my opinion - word press is great for professional things like a website blog, information portal, and stuff like that.

but for monetization, go with blogger.

Wordpress. Wordpress. It's the plugins, oh glorious plug-ins!!!

Wordpress definately! Lots of plugins, lots of themes, self hosted is simple to set up as well. If you have multiple blogs then Wordpress Mu gives you the ability to create multiple blogs on your domain.
  14. NicholasK
Stirlyn, you're right.. I almost forgot the infinite number of themes available..
