Hey guys! I recently posted an article on my blog talking about eating salad for breakfast. I put this together to help some of my clients who are struggling with weight loss.

Anyone got any other ideas about what to eat apart from the norm that would be healthy for brekky?

Just thought I would throw it out there to see if anyone else is as crazy as me when it comes to this stuff

    I love salad for breakfast!!
    Yoghourt with fruits too...
But I think that if it is for weight loss, it is the dinner that people should consider having lighter and more healthy.

Sounds like a great idea to me. One can make a great, very filling salad chock full of healthy vegetables and very little (if any) saturated fat. I eat such a salad on a daily basis. On the same topic, check out my recent article concerning the Top 10 absolute worst fast food items that you could possibly stick into your piehole, and there's at least one breakfast item on that list as I recall: independentrage.blogspot.com/2009/10/ill-have-diet-coke-with-that-top-10.ht...

Best thing for breakfast is steel cut oats tons of fiber, and research shows that people that eat meals that are high in fiber tend to be slimmer.

My favorite thing for breakfast is a crawfish and picante omelete

    second is day old pizza!

On Saturday I eat a big plate of hashbrowns...

A protein shake, a couple of fruit, and a multi vitamin.

I do liquid egg whites with whatever veggies I have around. This morning I threw in some broccoli and scallions.

Just spray a little no-stick spray in a small bowl before adding the egg whites and stuff, nuke in the micro for about a minute and voila' a perfect little omelette.

You could do cheese too (but I'm trying to stay away from dairy.)
