   there have been numerous threads about this if you do a search. but i really love dreamhost. i've been with them about a year now, i think. downtimes have been very short ... responses very fast and professional.

   I have been happy with Bluehost. I know a person who had many problems with siteground, so that may be one to avoid.

   I don't mind Host Gator, but maybe bluehost has better suport for WordPress. I think choose one that not only has good support but also good tutorials on how to do everything

   Bluehost has very good Wordpress support. They also have easy installation of a bunch of programs, although I just run Wordpress on there. Their customer service has been pretty good in general for me.

   I use Hostgator and so far so good. The support is excellent and very easy installation of wordpress.
   
   However I don't recommend anyone purchasing a domain name through them as they buy it and put it in their name.
