   I use a lot of my own pictures in my blog, though when I need something special I go to 123rf.com. Pictures are $1 each for web quality, or less per image if you buy a monthly membership. What I like is that you can choose a variety of pictures for your "lightbox" and then go back to evaluate them before you pick the ones you want to buy.
   
   One other helpful tool is the free www.shrinkpictures.com, which lets you compress high resolution pictures into something that loads better on your blog. It just takes a second and I use this for a lot of the images I take with my own camera.

   Flickr creative commons. You must at the very least cite the source and the author/photograper/owner name... and makesure to read their (cc) condition from the owner of those pictures/photo as well (for some, they eg: use cc-by+their own additional license condition).

   Any photo taken by a U.S. government employee during working hours is public domain. I've uploaded over 100 photos to Wikitravel, where I am a docent for Colorado. Here are a few of my favorite sites.

    You can get images from Flickr and Deviant art that are Creative Commons Licenses, but please always make sure your using the images with the CC licenses and not the images that are all right reserved.

    My blog is attached to Zemanta.com and i dont search for images related to my keywords. further, it is useful for searching and adding related post from the blogosphere. Zemanta can be integrated to all platforms.
