Best tool to use to drive traffic to your blog?

I am trying to increase the number of unique visitors to my blog. I was wondering what was the best tool to use. Of course, I use blog catalog and twitter...any other suggestions.

Hmm, with my mp3 blog Hype Machine and Elbo.ws, they give the most traffic. And links from other blogs.

Commenting on similar blogs is a great way to gain attention. The comments need to have substance though, something that will make the reader want more. I hope this helps!

A little trick I use is digg.....okay I am not talking about getting on the front page of digg.

Here's what I do. I go to digg and I go to the section of articles that have been online for over 365 days, older diggs. Then I find an article and digg it and comment on it.

That post has lots of link juice as it's been on digg for over a year and it's a great back link to your blog
