No. During my research my most interesting finding is that Bing is alot like Ask3D a service that failed back in 2007. It was lead up to with a bunch of hype and a promotional video much like the one Bing has on their site right now. There was also chatter about Ask3D overpowering Google, like there is now with Bing. It IS two years later however, maybe they got it right this time.

Here's the article: codesucker.blogspot.com/2009/05/bing-seo-do-i-have-to-optimize-for-bing.htm...

It discusses the thoughts rolling around in my mind about optimizing specifically for Bing if it does become a search giant.

Well, Bing has the Buzz Of The Week and along with it some FRESH mind-share above and beyond what MSN/Live search delivers. I saw a few hits from Bing show up in several of my sites stats tonight. (As I did from kumo.com when it was in testing under the kumo codename over the past few weeks). All I can say is it'd be smart to make sure you got all your ducks in a row with your sites at Microsoft's webmaster tools.

I'm a little worried about Bing - and Search Engines in general: they all seem to be filtering the web with an ever tighter noose. The Big Players, Ad Payers and Fortune 500 getting a bigger slice of eyeballs, and poorly backlinked little folk are just getting shoved further down in search results.

The scariest is drop-down SEARCH SUGGESTIONS. Too many people will simply choose the top phrases offered up to them - and if your site doesn't superbly match those most popular (ahem, most PROFITABLE) top keywords - then the odds of getting seen are gonna get slimmer.

LoL @ search suggestions - I've thought that too, it's like we need to be spoonfed not only results but queries

and if your site doesn't superbly match those most popular (ahem, most PROFITABLE) top keywords - then the odds of getting seen are gonna get slimmer.
thats a real interesting point I never considered! Super kudos for bringing it up, I'll keep my eye on this

Thanks for reading the article, I agree about the noose too.
