Birthday Threads? When is yours?

Noticed many birthday threads since I've been here over a year ago.So what do you think of having one birthday thread once a month, when BC members can share and wish the birthday person/s all the best? Of course someone has to volunteer to start the thread each month. It's sad when someone has to say "happy birthday to me.' October has still some weeks left? Any volunteers.

@Shiley - Hope we find someone/s to start the thread in June for the birthdays of the month, preferably someone who's birthday is not in June. Would you like to choose a month Shiley?

Happy Birthday to the folks with the special coming up (TJ, the Devil and alivasim).
I think have a birthday thread is a great idea. We need to have a birthday Calendar so we know when everyone's day is.
I hope everyone gets to enjoy their upcoming birthdays!-

@ Richer44 -Great idea!. A birthday calendar. How do you propose that we do it. Should a few people take one month of the year, so when the month comes up, these people will start the birthday discussion wishing all those having birthdays during that month? Do you want to take October as mine is this month? I am willing to start the November thread for birthdays. So any November birthdays, give me a shout, the date and will do the thread.

@agapelife - Ideally, I would love to see BC with an option to add your birthday on your profile (actually, it might already be there... I am not sure). Then they could have your birthday's automatically coming up on the front page or anywhere on the site. I have seen this done with other forums so I know it is possible.
As far as taking one month at a time. I have no issues with taking October but I have no clue when everyone's birthday is. I guess I can just use this thread to creat it. I hope everyone has posted their October Birthday's!
Any other suggestions would be great and welcomed!

Was this fast enough?
Petit Fours Cookies
Madeleines
This cookie has its very own cookie pan. The characteristics are a shell on the front and a hump on the back. You can make the batter and take it out to use , as needed everyday for up to a week. Take out warm up and pipe.
Grease and flour the pans.
8 oz butter softened
8 oz sugar
1 t vanilla
1 t lemon zest
4 large eggs
1 egg yolk
12 oz AP flour
pinch of salt
2 1/4 t baking powder

Finish with 10 X sprinkled on top
1) Cream butter, sugar, zest and salt.
2) Sift baking powder and flour together.
3) Alternate the dry and eggs, ending with the dry.
4) Stir until well combined.
5) Pipe batter into mold with #5 tube about 3.4 full. Start at the base, go up and come back.
Bake 375ยบ for 8 to 10 minutes. The will puff up a bit and be brown on the backside. Remove from pans immediately by tapping the mold/mat; they will fall out.
Serve plain, with 10 X sugar, a lemon glaze or with tempered chocolate. be sure to let the edges show. Serve fresh out of the oven in a warm container.
Freezes nicely.

Mine was back in May, I just turned 21 this year Happy Birthday Guys. I have an exreamly busy 15th & 16th october (6 friends & families birthdays within 2 days!) haha x-
Make it a hot explosive celebration with lots of wrapping paper and bows for the birthday people.

Hear Hear....newsflash Theresa111 has agreed to bake a special cake each month for the birthday celebrants. Thank you Theresa on behalf of all BC members, she is now the official birthday cake and pastry chef for BC. For October, she has kindly provided the recipe for Madeleines. See picture in the middle of this thread!
