Hello. I am trying to blend my Google Adsense ads to match my web page. The colours in the preview in the blogger dashboard matches my page perfectly and looks like this:

But the final product that appears on my blog uses lighter colours like this:

Why does it change? Is Google overriding my colour scheme for some reason? I have seen other blogs that match perfectly. Does anyone know what the deal is?

    Do these help?

How do I customize the color of the ads on my website?
You can select from a number of built-in color palettes, or you can create up to 100 of your own. When you select a color palette and an ad format during the guided ad setup, the appropriate ad code is generated for you. You can select up to 4 palettes that will rotate randomly. www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=9981

The thing is, I know how to change the colour of my ads, it's just that the colours that I select and that it shows me in the preview are not the resulting colours that show up on my blog. The preview does not match the final product.

Enjoyed reading your blog. If currently you are adding the adsense ads using the blogger layout gadget tool then instead you might want to try getting the embed code from your adsense account page.

      Thanks, I'll try that.

Ok, so I messed around with the colours in the google adsense account page. Seems like some of the codes google uses for their colours don't quite coincide with the codes blogger uses. Had to change them a bit to match, but I think it is as close as it will get now.

Thanks again for the help and I'm glad you liked my blog.

No problem glad you got it sorted. Bad Google using different codes!
