blog contests, do you enter?

hi there! I've run a couple of contests on my blog. Right now I have one that is VERY easy, just post and win. I announed a window in which I would post an invite to win. So it is random in time but easy for the person who stumbles upon the contest and reads the entire thing...
what type of contest do you like? a longer entering period or a short wham bam type of contest

Sometimes I do...sometimes I don't...depends on if the prize interests me. I think many bloggers run fake contests and don't pay or set up a bogus winner.

Not implying anything towards you but I entered an Iphone contest recently and the winner had no blog to visit and really no way to verify if they actually existed.

Can't prove it...but I think it was bogus.
