Blog Network Payment

What would you guys think about a blog network that payed authors by letting them add their own ads to their blogs while the network owns and promotes them?
I don't have an opinion on this and just wanted to hear what you guys thought.

the blogcatalog group is for questions about blogcatalog.
As for the network there are plenty of places that do this already. But to make it worth while it really would have to be well done and well advertised-
Really, care to point me to a few of them?
