Blog networks by invitation only....

Protocol question.

I frequent a couple of blogs and have noticed that they feature buttons for a particular blogging network that is specific to a certain genre.

Turns out you can't register there without the invitation of an active member.

Is it out of line/rude/etc. to ask one of the bloggers for an invite? Keep in mind these bloggers also read my blog regularly and comment, too.

So...thoughts?

    I don't think so, I would bet many of the other members did the same. Just have a good reason why you should be invited.

    I would do what samureyed suggests. As you aren't a member and want to be one then what do you have to lose by asking for an invite?

    If you actually know them from comments back and forth on your blog and their blogs, don't hesitate to ask about the network.
