A nicely designed blog but unfortunately have not been updated recently. The permalink gets a 404 Not Found error too. Anyway, it was an interesting post.

The Airbus A380's First Commercial Flight On Singapore Airlines

Tickets to the maiden flight of the A380 were auctioned off under special arrangements with eBay, which raised around $1.3 million for charity. Passengers paid from $550 to as much as over $100,000 to be part of the inaugural flight.

"I carried my dang sign thru four countries in the last 5 years and Paul never read my sign out loud!"

Two California women won tickets to see Paul McCartney perform in London. Apparently he liked their sign proclaiming their love for him and acknowledged it. Looks like the author's a little jealous!

is this effective? only few are interested.

Well apparently, if the flow isn't followed, it wouldn't be effective now would it?

With all due respect czixanggb, you read other blogs (I presume), you write your own, and you would want others to read yours too. This is just a fun way of doing what you are already doing (or should be doing). No pressure to post "reciprocal links". No one has to "favorite" anyone else. Just let blogcatalog know what you can appreciate about the previous poster's latest blog post and let others explore your blog as well.

This discussion is envisioned with the effect that the more you blog and the more you come back to this discussion, the more you can discover what other members are writing about and the more likely someone else will discover yours.

As for only a few being interested, not many people like following this sort of exercise. We'll just leave it at that.

But if you're interested, we would appreciate it czixanggb if you pay EavesdropWriter the favor of implementing the "Blog Quotes" steps. Otherwise, will the next commentor please follow suit. EavesdropWriter's writing style is great. We can all learn a thing or two.

From Blind to Reason by EavesdropWriter eavesdropwriter.blogspot.com/2007/10/blind-to-reason.html

(Amber eyes is eating at a coffee shop watching the news about the wild fires currently burning in California. He is talking with his friend.)

"Amber eyes: I am tired of paying for other people's problems. Do not live in a forest. Do not have six kids on welfare. Do not make me pay for your problems.

    "Friend: Damn, you're amped today.

"Amber eyes: Yeah, well, it's a bad week. You know I still have not gotten my Worker's Comp check?"

Oh the irony. Sometimes I do wonder if EavesdropWriter makes this stuff up, but I know people. And sadly, I am sure she is not making this stuff up. Ugh.

p.s. I did enjoy the touch of sarcasm in this line, as well: "Well apparently, if the flow isn't followed, it wouldn't be effective now would it?" It goes perfectly with the expression on your avatar elmerato.
    1. EavesdropWriter
Hey, thanks cadio girl for continuing this thread after that little rewind! You're right about elmerato's redirection. Caused me a laugh choked with coffee. I know what you mean about wondering if these conversations are for real. Through my listening, I have found that life truly is stranger than fiction.

The blog itself is named very interestingly enough for everybody to look into: "Cardiogirl: 19% body fat 100% fun"
    www.cardiogirl.net/
The latest post is "I can do anything! At least that’s what my mom told me growing up"

It covers a lot of varied topics such as confidence building, visit of cardiogirl to Broadway musical, her experience with colleagues and writing & publishing a book etc. Some of the portions worth reading are:

"One day, I want to go to Border’s Books and see my name on the spine of a book. I’m not greedy. Just one book would satisfy me. I don’t need to be featured on Oprah’s Book Club."

    And while concluding the post,
"I think Chris Baty would say I am over-analyzing this and I might paralyze my creative juices by getting ahead of myself. I guess I need to forget about the marketing aspect of this right now and focus on producing a tangible item that could be marketed."

Very interesting!! I don't know how you made them, cardiogirl; your shoes depicting different moods of the day are wonderful!

    (Meghna) meghnaspages.blogspot.com/
  8. cardiogirl
Thank you meghna! The shoes are easy, I just pick one from Converse and put it in a photo editing program.

Meghna's latest post is a list of funny one-liners she's received via e-mail. I had to laugh at this one:

"If you tell a man there are 300 billion stars in the universe, he'll believe you. But if you tell him a park bench has just been painted, he has to touch it to be sure."

    meghnaspages.blogspot.com/

p.s. I hope this thread goes somewhere. I really think it's a great idea and very entertaining. No offense, Meghna, EavesdropWriter and Elmerato, but it would be fun to meet MORE bloggers this way. I know you three agree with me, since you're here
    1. elmerato
No offense taken cardiogirl. Exactly what I like for this thread. I want it to go forward too. And everyone to go forward together with it.

We are a community of bloggers, and most of us wants to have our blogs read by others. This way, we read others' blogs and others read our blogs too. At the same time we are growing a quick repository of blog quotes we can easily browse looking for stuff that interests us without having to jump from one person's profile to the next (although it would be good to do that too).

Invite your friends to join the thread also. We are growing.

"This weekend was extremely difficult for me; I would classify this as a spiritual and emotional crisis, the likes of which I have never seen. And I thought I had already hit rock bottom."

This is one of the most revealing outpouring of emotion I've ever seen in a blog post. Hang in there, cardiogirl!
