onecoolsite is a growing collection of blogging tips, instructional posts, reviews,tutorials and links to blogging tools and resources. If you are looking for tips on how to improve your blog and your blogging then, regardless of what blogging software you use, this blog is for you.
My goal is to provide useful information to both beginner bloggers and to those who wish to improve their blogging skills. My focus is on writing posts on Building a Better Blog and How to Become a Better Blogger.

I ♥ your blog. The layout is so clean and relaxing. It frames your images and contents so well. The navigation is intuitive and you have made effective use of static pages. You are obviously opposed to sidebar clutter, as am I. Most of all I love your writing. You are an extraordinary storyteller and your posts are entertaining. This is a Vargus pinup. My husband likes it and says it resembles me before I changed my natural hair color and made it dark. I agree with him and I'm waiting for my temporary haircolor to wash out. -

I'm so pleased to see how quickly you are learning how to become an effective blogger. I noticed that you were a member of "blogged" and I am too so I clicked through and reviewed and rated your blog both for BC and for "blogged" too. Keep up the good work.
Advice: I'd live to see you place social bookmarks at the end of each of your posts. It's more effective to do that than it is to have a stumbleupon button in your sidebar. These social bookmarks will work on any blog, not just wordpress.com blogs hillelstoler.com/2008/05/18/getsocial-social-bookmarking-for-wordpresscom/

I don't use these bookmarks I use a script and to use it in a wordpress.com blog is really "fiddly" so I don't recommend it to others.
The blogger (Hillel) who created "getsocial" is very helpful so please go back to his site and leave him a comment making it clear that you have a Blogger blog. I'm sure he will help you if you ask but do be sure to provide details. Phrases like "it doesn't work" are not useful when it comes to providing support. What's needed is specific details. What did you do? When did you get stuck? What exactly did not work? These are the details you must provide when you post your comment. -

I have completed your review and rating for both BC and for "blogged" as well. The only advice I have for you at this time is that is very difficult to promote a personal blog because they have such a wide range of topical material. Perhaps you could consider isolating some keywords and concepts and using them to structure 4-6 pillar posts that define your "territory" so to speak. Thank you so much TT. I really appreciate the reviews, they made my night, and have strengthened my decision to put more effort into that blog. I really like the concept of pillar posts. I had not heard that term before, but it makes a lot of sense, and now I'm excited about working on that.

Hey TT, how are you? Well, my e-zine contains my cynical views on life and it's situations. It also contains the homepage for my talk show, The Mr. Chap Morning Show Live, one of the internet's most entertaining shows hosted on BlogTalkRadio.com. My Media Center contains new DVD releases (and sometimes new in theatres) as well as the music I produce and record in the studio. My literature section contains original short stories and skits, and finally my game room is full of entertaining activities to keep the day going...
