Blog Traffic. Help!

I am a new blogger. I haven't had my blog long. How can I get more readers? I've had 1 hit here on this website, and I've been up here for several days. I'd just like to know some traffic tips for my specific blog. Don't worry, I've seen lots of other blog tips. If you could take a look at my blog and give me some tips, I'd be grateful!

I just read your blog and it's good. It kept me interested, although I love reading blogs!
I personally would submit your blog to some blog directories, write some articles on some topics you are knowledgeable in and submit them to places like ezinearticles.com (you can leave the link to your blog in the author's box) and keep on writing. Getting a blog following takes a lot of time and effort but will pay off in the end.
I'd also do a little research on getting traffic as my suggestions obviously aren't the end all/be all of traffic sources. As well, when you're at the point of quitting because of any reason, don't. This is when the turnaround will probably be.
