    Good article. Well-written.

    Really. Well-written. Informative.

I read all 22 pages of "Blog Traffic Made Easy" - 3 pages of that is a list of links - not a bad resource right there.

Good content to fluff ratio, practical advice. It doesn't hurt that your promotion philosophy is similar to mine.

My first impression of your article wasn't the best: that "DOWNLOAD NOW!" link reminded me of sites promising that I could MAKE A MILLION DOLLARS IN ONE WEEK! - or something equally improbable.

I downloaded it, though, and the file is going into my 'resource' section. Also probably a mention elsewhere.

Good stuff, thanks for the heads-up!

... and added a mini-review and link to Apathetic Lemming of the North. Thanks for helping me reach my daily quota.

Thanks, good advise. Though at 22 pages I don't know that the term "article" is quite right.

I know what you mean, but some (print) magazines publish fairly long pieces that they call "articles." A quick-and-dirty word count showed a little upwards of 8,700 words.

That's comparable to The New Yorker articles, which seem to run around 8,000 words or so.

Longer than we're used to on the Web, but some topics can stand elucidation.

@bsd13: I don't know what else to call it. I hate the term "e-book"... it makes it sound so cheesy, cheap and worthless.
    1. Norski
Too bad about the "e-book" - I still think the concept is valid.

Of course, we've got equivalents to the things all over the Internet.
    2. RobSellen
Report, blueprint, whitepaper, manifesto, e-booklet, manual, digibook.. :o)
    3. MadameX
Call it "Complete Guide to..." It's more befitting the length and "complete" is a very marketing-friendly word.

i think it's cool, just that i don't see any blogger link, it might not catch the interest of people who use blogger.com, i hope you could also give easy instructions for people who use blogger on how to create their own domain^^
    1. sitefever
      You don't use blogger!

Or buy a domain and setup a redirect to your blogger site with your domain registrar.

Programs such as blogger are great if you're setting up a personal blog or something like that, but if you're setting up a blog you really want to make successful, professional and want to make money on, you need to get your own domain and hosting.

I must say that this has been my first BlogCatalog discussion post, and I really wish I had discovered this resource sooner.
