I am so proud to be the BC Blogger Advocate for Family and Home & Garden blogs.
This week, I posted my first feature on the BC blog, a profile of Kristen Welch and her blog,
We are THAT Family ... you know the ones.
[Please have a look; I am looking forward to your comments and to the chance to meet and highlight more great bloggers on BlogCatalog.]

Now, discussion time... In her blog, Kristen shares hilarious (sometimes embarrassing) tales about her family. Do you ever posted funny family stories of your own?
Give us the dirt.

Hello there. Good work. I have commented and visited the blog as well. The writing is entertaining but huge header, flashing banner, and the amount and placement of advertising on the blog made me yell - yikes!

One thing she's definitely doing right is to have tabs linking to stable content right under her header. It's something I'm planning to incorporate on my own site.
Re: the site badges. A lot of blogs currently have a javascript button to grab as an alternative to a text-only blogroll. It's a neat idea and a fun way to showcase individual blogs.
(And I'm glad you liked her content. So did I.)
