Hi there...

Is it possible to set a different background colour or image to individual page elements on a Blogger account?

Perhaps within the code for the widget (if you expanded the widgets in the html editor), but I'm by far not the right person to answer this question. This is more a bump, as I'm curious about the answer.

    Thanks Legbamel....

I tried that but could not see anything within the html referring to the widgets that could effect the background of that particular element!

      Sorry for the late reply....

What tags are you talking about?

Edit your template and add the color where it says "bkgd # or bkgd color #" The number # is where you should be able to add the color. Example #000000 is the color black, and #ffffff is red, etc... Just test it, but make sure that you get a copy of your template download it onto your pc incase you mess it up. You can always put the old one with everything back to the way it was the first time. Hope this helps. Oh, and if you need color # then look up "CSS" or color chart on the SE.

To change colors on Blogger, go to the Template tab and click on "Fonts and Colors." That allows you to alter color for areas, lines and type. If you want a color not in the grid, you can enter the hex code in a box under "Edit color hex code."
