While looking through this list, it dawned on me that not one of the presidential candidates, or even their campaign staff, actually bothered to participate in "Bloggers Unite For Human Rights" by submitting their blog...guess they were too busy campaigning and all.

I would like to ask my fellow Blogcat members if they have any suggestions on what we can do next to further this case. One thing I am thinking about is to somehow pick the ten best blogs, or the ten that most examplify the criteria of the posed question "Bloggers Unite For Human Rights" and then the whole Blogcat membership pick the best and the runner-up blog and then we can donate some money to the winners. I'm game for $10.00 in support of Humane Rights. How about you?

It's just a suggestion and perhaps we can get a re-mention on CNN on this effort, send the winner to the UN, or at least Amnesty International and ask them to post it on their website.

Human Rights i think is main issue in our world because some people and countries have to suffer or forgive rights which they have to be given due to some political, regional, some more others basis, Like war of Iraq and the condition of Afganistan's people become more critical and thinkable for every human beings. I think if one human suffer in our world its mean we all suffer along with them because it is the virtual relationship among all the people which Respected God have made in the beginning of the world

It was great to be able to participate in this. I came home for lunch to write my post since I knew I would not be home until late that evening. It was our high school graduation ceremony. It was very encouraging to listen to the speakers. We had some of the alumni speak and it is always great to hear what they are doing. One young man wants to retire by age 23!! He is well on his way with 3 of his own businesses now, including car washes and a custom car body shop.

He did not listen to people who told him "No". That is what it takes for change is to move beyond the "Nos" in life. I believe this applies to human rights, too. We must get beyond shutting our eyes to injustice, and things that are not right, and find a way to help those who are less fortunate. Remember the "random acts of kindness"? It can start that easily. Oops guess this could have been a post. Sorry for the ramble.

yeah i did a tribute for some old growth forest that isn't there no more...Alot of animals and forest was lost in Goolengook Vic Australia...The way it effected me and human rights is the area that was destroyed was Aboriginal sacred land and also the river that was bulldozed into was World Heritage.
This was all because of a one evil corporation, Norths Ltd...Its sad to think these sort of illegal operations are still happening in the world...
