Bloggers Unite For Human Rights!
On May 15, thousands of bloggers will come together and all blog about Human Rights. There are dozens and dozens of human rights issues that you can write about. The one you choose is up to you.
• The wrongful imprisonment of journalists covering assemblies.
• Governments that ignore the plight of citizens left tot he mercy of gangs.
• The censorship of the Internet in order to prevent freedom of expression.
• Harsh punishments that include torture, forced labor, and starvation.
• Sexual assault against women by members of military or militia.
All of this is happening the world today even though this year marks the 60th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights adopted by the United Nations.
You can learn more by visiting the Bloggers Unite page unite.blogcatalog.com
Then, on Thursday, May 15, write a blog post that helps bring awareness about human rights and why it’s important.
We really need your help to make this the biggest campaign ever.

Second column, third from the top:
That looks a bit like a Japanese naval flag or ensign (in use from the nineteenth century to the present, except for about a decade after WWII). Right down to the number of rays (16, assuming one is hidden behind the wrist).
Very dressy - but what's the message?
(interesting background at flagspot.net/flags/jp%5E.html ) -

I had some trouble coming up with ideas for images I could use in some of these. If any of you have any ideas post them here and I will try to add them.

Ideas?
Monitor and keyboard encircled by barbed wire?
(And, just a suggestion - an alternative to the 'workers of the world, unite' style for 1st column, 4th row? It's just an impression - possibly reinforced by that 'power to the people' fist that's a recurring theme. Sorry, I remember the sixties - and visual memories are hard to shake.) (Please don't misunderstand - I like the designs, but would like to have more options -- selfish, isn't it?
.)

@nine
I have searched the "help" topics. I also typed "how do I upload an image into a Blog Catalog discussion thread" without getting relevant results. The results simply directed me to numerous blogs, including those such as photo blogs. Could you please give me hand with this?-
its basic html. just use a standard img tag and link to a photo online.
www.w3schools.com/HTML/html_images.asp
so something like
img src="http://something.com/image.jpg"
Just dont forget the < > brackets before and after. You don't need to specify the size.

Well, I think that - personally - I'm hoping for mercy rather than justice.
That said, sounds like a good idea.
I'll be making irrelevant comments from time to time, if this thread starts getting 'below the fold' on page one.
And, odds are pretty good that I'll take a dip in the 'relevance' pool again. -

"Governments that ignore the plight of citizens left tot he mercy of gangs."
