I am friends with a humor blogger at Always Home and Uncool, Kevin McKeever, whose daughter has fought a disease called Juvenile Myositis [JM] for years. JM is an autoimmune disease that tricks a kid's body to attack its own healthy cells. Symptoms range from persistent fever, pain, and fatigue to complete loss of muscle control.

Kevin's hoping the blogging community will donate a blog post to help to raise awareness of JM on October 2.
