Blogiversary Ideas?

Blogiversaries are a rapidly growing phenomenon on the internet, and we too mark our calendar with our blogging milestones!

Almost a full year of personal writing, lending ourselves to noticing unique occasions, well after all building relationships is a hallmark of blogging.

Writing posts on an almost daily basis is a lot of work, as we all know only too well. With the need for new and interesting blog posting ideas, we often come face-to-face with the difficulty in even getting finger to keyboard.

We often also faced the challenge of juggling our business, blog, and family life. If you have been following through our blog faithfully, you might have noticed we took a long absence from writing early this year, as a result of a deceased loved one.

Blogging takes time, and is hard work, sometimes harder than our business itself! So the next time you pass through our regular blog reads, or even simply hopping through blogs; take time to write a brief comment. Be it a feedback, congratulatory snippet, or a question; your comments are always appreciated by us.

Come July 2009 we will be celebrating our 1st Blogiversary as a reminder that despite all difficulties faced, we have stayed power as a new medium of informational exchange.

Meanwhile, we're open for ideas as to how to make this day special for us. Suggestions anyone?

Giveaways are always popular. Also just blogging about your blogiversary and telling your story in a post can be interesting to your readers.

I don't even celebrate birthdays I usually just thank my readers if I even remember by blogaversary. I think I missed it last year not sure.

WOW thanks for all your help! U sure made my job easier, i didn't have to think so much. hehehe

So I've decided on the following (which actually is a compilation of all your ideas :P)

- Links to significant posts & top commentators
- Why have we changed the format to a magazine layout
- Gift hampers giveaways together with a contest
- And of course, a birthday cake to celebrate our 1st anniversary!

Anymore ideas? hehehe
