Remember my web - www.how-to-make-million-dollars.com

I have a hypothesis, that people tend to ignore the adsense campaigns displayed in blogs. Just an example - www.allmosquitos.com - a money generator (there is no need to even to bookmark it) another example - www.how-to-make-million-dollars.com (my fun blog) Yesterday, I had over 160 visits from digg and stubleupon - and 0 adsense hits... strange...

not strange, just like direct mail, you should only have 2-3 hits for every 100 people that stop by, in threory

do your adds target your blog market?

Its like real estate, location, location, location. Move those ads to the upper left. Higher conversion. Then go get some low cost adbrite ads to drive traffic for a while. Or be an advertiser on stumbleupon.

Don't forget that a lot of visitors have blinders on. I mean, they have ad block or ad block plus on and don't see the ads at all. The conversion rate is getting lower and lower as more people use them.

That is a fact... I wonder has anyone ever conducted a survey or so on how much internet users use blinders?

I have a slightlly different opinion. Digg and Stumble are used by people who wish to drive traffic to their websites. It is like being a smartass among other smartass'es. They are not interested in the content just the clicks and new visits. They are just diggigng or stumbling - pressing a thumbup button or thumbdown (if using a toolbar). So... to conclude. Digg and stubmerl ir mostlly used by webmasters who try to promote theit blog or website. It is like pulling one blanket to all the sides - but unfortunatelly the blanket is too small....
