    I'd like to state right up front that I have not yet attempted to earn an income from blogging. However, I do have an idea I would like to offer up and I would be interested to hear feedback on it.
    
    My idea is to write reviews of software, resources, tools and services I use when blogging. I would then post messages on community forums in the niches related to the reviewed products, tools and services with a link back to my reviews over the signature of each message I post to those forums.
    
    I believe that if I had Google adsense on my blog that advertising for whatever I have reviewed will be found on my page so readers can click through based on my recommendations. I also believe that the entrepreneurs marketing the products, tools and services that I have reviewed may approach me to do follow-up reviews on a pay for review basis.
    
    What do others think of this idea?

       Your plan is sound but like all new business ventures you want to succeed should be develop a business plan. Rather than relying on adsense to serve up the right ads, I would go specifically to the creator and work out a deal. They often times already have affiliate relationships in place that won't interfere with you adsense ads.

    My blogging tips blog is currently free hosted onecoolsite.wordpress.com where no blogger initiated advertising is allowed. Once I feel I have "a handle" on the how to's of monetizing and a list of the pitfalls to avoid, then I will have a monetized blog on my own domain.
