Topics: movies
I was just thinking of writing a blog on some of the movies that I have seen and like. I was wondering how many people write on movies? It would be helpful for people to decide whether to see the movie or not. So if you have written on movies, do put it here.

There are literally hundreds of thousands of movie blogs which makes it difficult to build up a following. It can be done though. I write regular movie reviews and news stories on movies at TheMovingArts.com. It's really fun and is a great subject to write about.
-
Writing movie reviews alone is not going to bring you very far. You might need to add some spice in the blog like gossips or something. Ask yourself, why would ppl visit your site? What value are you giving them for coming and coming back?

I am not saying about writing ONLY movie reviews. Infact I myself have written about various others things like sports, Spirituality, life here etc in addition to reviews on movies, books and games.
see it here at-

I write about movies on a blog separate from my regular one. I just enjoy writing it - not much of a following, but that's OK. Here's the link:

I too have kept a separate blog page for movies other than the regular one which is much better than keeping all types of blogs on a single page. In fact I have separate ones for 1) Review, 2) Cricket sport, 3)General Musings, 4) Spirituality. on www.telach.blogspot.com

No, they have high PR and readerships because they have been doing it for years. Trying to cut into their market share by doing the exact same thing is an effort in futility.
And that is completely disregarding the question of why anyone would simply want to do the same thing as someone else? Are you not confident enough in your own ideas and skills? -
I feel we should write about gossips if we do have some interesting information and are able to write it in that way which excites the readers, but basically we shoud stick to our own style whatever it is and that we are comfortable in. I write reviews about movies and some additional information that many might not know about it, the behind-the -scenes information and also the upcoming information which people might be interested to know.....

And recently I have infact written on the character Captain Jack Sparrow of The Pirates of the Caribbean.....and previously about the Transporter movies..at www.telach.blogspot.com

If you write well i am looking for one or more people to write on movies for www.theotherblog.net
I am looking reviews in the 300 word count area. This is a nice opportunity to increase your own exposure though with live links to your own blog of choice.-
I don't know about the 300 word count but do check out my blog on movie reviews and decide for yourself if you like-

your reviews are good, and if You wanted to rewrite any of the for the theotherblog.net that would avoid either of us using duplicate content I would be happy to use them to cross promote your own blog.

If you like you can check out my reviews over at www.themovingarts.com
I am willing to condense/re-write if needs be. Let me know.

I've covered one movie on my blog that I wanted to get the word out on. My blog is the No 1 result in Google for searches on that movie.
Normally I write movie reviews for the website: www.horrortalk.com (Yeah, horror movies. Go figure). -
I don't technically write movie reviews but I have had more visitors to my blog when I do a review of a current movie. Wall-e gave me a lot of hits.
-
If anybody would like to use my reviews on their blog I wouldn't opposed to it, as long as I get a link back and credit for the review of course.

Let me know what you think and we can talk:) -
Ask yourself why you want to keep a blog beforehand. I began keeping a list of the movies I'd seen because of a short-term memory issue. I turned my love of movies into a blog and NOBODY (hardly anybody) reads it or visits often. I can't just watch a movie for fun anymore. I hear a good piece of dialogue or notice the lighting and since I began I have been much more critical of films in general. I have five movies waiting for me to transfer my notes into a review for my blog. As many people who love a film that I loved there are equal numbers of people who disagree with me. Mind you, movies are my passion but I don't expect to be called to critique on Ebert and Roper any time soon. Best of luck to you!
-
Well I have made separate blogs for different topics and reviews is one of them in which I put movie reviews. I write because I love the movie and want to share it with others. And people are visiting it more than my other blogs. I also try to put in extra information that either people might not know and would want to know about the movie.

This is an old thread, however if you are looking for movies (download), my blog could help. Not every movies are there, but only movies with good and high quality (no cam, no fake, no noise and trouble on sound) found from the whole fast download hostings on the internet. Kind of a newcomer blog.
here: software-gal.blogspot.com
and next time if you just forgot how to find my blog, just go to google and type for "softwaregal". My blog is there on top for that search term.
Take a look on Google: www.google.com.my/search?q=softwaregal&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozil...
