Arrrghhh! - all my Blogspot blogs have just disappeared from my dashboard and from the web!!! If you go over to the blogger help forum it seems like its happening to other people too groups.google.com/group/blogger-help-loginissues/topics?start=
Could be a virus?..
If you've got a Blogspot blog I suggest you back it up - there's a free tool that's apparently quite good, which I've never used (I wish I had now!) www.blogbackuponline.com/techrigy
Hopefully they'll all come back or I'll be starting from scratch
(backing up daily and on self hosted wordpress if I can afford all the domain names I want)

Well I certainly hope that's all it is - they've been down for maintenance before and I've never had this happen though, normally when maintenance is going on you can still see your blogs you just can't do anything with them. Also, the other people that have been reporting this have been affected over the past few days so, unfortunately, it seems like its probably something else that's going on
Fingers and toes are all crossed though

Not as far as I know. Some of them only had 2 or 3 posts with links to popular mainstream sites. The others were all prety similar but with more posts. There was one celeb blog which some slightly risque pics but nothing nsfw but even if they thought that was too risque I would hope they wouldn't delete all my blogs just for that?!?

I read google is erasing blogs from blogger that are abusing adsense - hopefully you didnt get confused.

Did you try to go into "edit post" and repost it again. Somehow it will refresh the entire blog. This happened to me once and I found that by doing this, it helped.

I got tired of blogger being down when I use to write a mac blog and so I switched to wordpress.com and now wordpress is all I use. I prefer it so much more definitely give it a try.

The problem for some will be Wordpress.com's severe restrictions on widgets and advertising.

I have over 12 at blogger and I have never had a problem there.
I sure hope you get your blogs back so you can do a backup. Then
if it happens again you wont lose anything. I thought they (Google)
did backups with every post. Anyway, thanks for sharing the backup
website URL with us. I just signed up with them.
Best of luck -
Another backup option is Wordpress.com. You can set up a blog that you never make public, and then import your Blogger blog, including comments. You can then even download a copy to your desktop computer. (Techfun told me about this a couple months back.)
