I guess blogs that do paid posting are being kicked out of payperpost. The irony of a paid posting site kicking out blogs that do paid posting. Have you guys been kicked out of payperpost yet? www.bloggernoob.com/blog-assessment-not-approved/18/

This comment does not directly relate to your post which I cannot identify with, as I do not blog for money and as I avoid blog for money sites like the plague.
I'm aware that others have been given the boot. This is what I have heard others discussing: What's more important - money or page rank? Google cannot base their relevancy on people buying links. The PPP reviews (which contained links) were being based on page rank and the links were not being no-followed. Since PPP was based off pagerank and was passing juice it was being used to buy links and PR therefore lessening the actual search value of the website. So paying for a review may not be bad, but paying for links on a high PR website to gain more backlinks and boost your own PageRank is. I expect we will hear more on this from people that know a lot more than I do but that's what I've heard.
Frankly I'm sick of hearing the sleazy ways bloggers come up with to game the system or loophole their way through it, and if all blog for money sites disappeared overnight, I'd probably shout Alleluia! so I won't be passing out any crying towels. -
That's too bad ... but it was inevitable in the back of my mind ..
What do you think changed their mind? (Unfortunately, your blog (’bloggernoob’) does not meet our standards for overall quality and will no longer be able to be used for accepting marketplace opportunities ) ... is it a direct ratio of paid posts for overall posts? More importantly, do you pursue the course of trying to "fix" whatever caused their standards to change? or, move on?
I'm sure the 'noob will bounce back. -
Maybe they are trying to try and hide the fact that they are basically link sellers. If most of the links they sell come off of sites who's only content is paid posts, it'd make their business worthless. So they are going to try, and get more blogs that have more original content posts than paid posts?
Not sure what the current situation is with paid post companies now, and I've never done a paid post. That's just my 2 cents. -
