Last year Forbes ranked Boston as the No. 7 best city in the country for singles... but how do you figure?

And more importantly, can you even go looking for love?

The cold was precisely made for lovers.

LOL. Exactly. Why do you think the highest month for births is September (in the U.S.)? Just count back 9 months.

I started dating my fiance in Boston in the winter! very good time to get cozy. I'd try going to cafe's in the North End!

Chicago is colder, and wetter, and windier! And was ranked 11th by Forbes. I think that has a little bit to do with there are just so many gorgeous single women here and not enough single men. Too much competition! Maybe I'll try Boston instead. I could root for the Red Sox instead of the Cubs, even though they're not lovable losers anymore...:)

Romantic cafe's and bakeries in the North End.
The North End's cobblestone paths and historical views.
A walk through Harvard Square in the fall.
A walk through Faneuil Hall marketplace.
A walk through the Boston Commons, all reasons to feel romantic
and find love if you're in the right place at the right time.
Stop for a drink in the many Irish pubs and get rowdy and start a fight.
I love Boston, it's a great little city where you can walk through most of it and see the sights
    and maybe find romance.

I live in Boston 1/2 of the time--and while I love the city, I do hate the winters. I tend to want to spend more time on the W. Coast during the winter. I do love the spring, fall, and summers though!

Boston and San Francisco are both wonderful, gentle cities. They are easy cities to live in. They really do remind me of each other in many ways.
