You may know Roos as a rightwing blogger with a very large readership. I found a cool image on his site and used it in one of my posts. I also linked back to his post in mine. Before using it, I did an image search and it's all over the web. I couldn't determine the original artist.
What do you think of my response to his flame comment on my post? What would you have said?

arsehat ... LOL love it. If I use that do I have to link back to your blog? I had people threaten to sue me when I used photos I found on the web ... even when I gave credit. Apparently that's not good enough, you have to get permission first from the owner. They gave me such a hard time it was unbelievable! It's not like I'm making money from the image ... oh well.
You know what's weirder. I don't even remember leaving that comment on your blog, LOL. But it was a good post. OMG ... I read too many blogs, that's the problem.-
Yeah, copyrights are a slippery slope. But what's funny is that it seems this guy doesn't even own the photo. I think he did the same thing he's pissed at Eavesdropper for doing only he didn't even link a source like she did. If you click on her link to his post, there's no reference to the image owner. It's true, that image is published on other websites. I just saw it in a techie forum last week. I remember it because it's funny.
