Britney Spears and Indian Tourism

Apparently, Britney Spears took the decision to head to India after meeting Indian-born choreographer, Sandip Soparrkar. She met Sandip through Madonna and he's going to be her guide.

Britney Spears is also going to re-shoot her 'Womanizer' video to help boost the tourism in India, especially in the wake of the Mumbai Terror Attacks. That's a pretty noble cause I must say, and as an Indian, I'm quite happy to see the enormous support coming in from people of almost all walks of life, and now pop music makes an entry too. Although I'm not a big fan of this genre, its good to know about their participation.

The 'Baby one more time' star was quoted as saying, "I love India. Its culture is so rich and colorful. I'm hoping to visit in the near future. I'd like to thank my Indian fans for loving my music. I will do everything I can to help. And I am so happy that Sandip is doing the second video for 'Womanizer'."

I remember people saying in the 1990s she would be done in a few years. I told them 10 years from now she will still be around. She is.

This was also at the same when people laughed at internet dating. I use to tell people I like online dating in the 1990s. It is a great way of meeting people. Now everyone does the internet dating.

Maybe I am just ahead of the times?

That might do her some good. Whenever I visit India, I feel very relaxed and at peace. Maybe because I am out of my monotonous routine and people are very friendly and inquisitive.
