Does anyone use bumpzee? Is it worth it?

I have a mybloglog, facebook, stumble page, etc but I really only use BlogCatalog (it rocks).

I guess I want to know if its worth trying out? Is it easier? Brings more traffic? Or just a self-whoring place?

I like blogcatalog because I've made some FRIENDS here, not just gotten traffic.

Personally. I used the followings for different purposes.

    1. StumbleUpOn for short term traffic.
    2. BumpZee for exposure to search engines
    4. BlogCatalog to find new interesting people and posts.

Yes. I'm on there. Seems to be slowly building. Nice to have more people looking at my stuff. Thanks terence for letting me know about it being good for search engines. And Yes. BC has some neat people on it. Glad I'm here.

Yeah, I'm on Bumpzee. I don't get over
there all that often though... not enough
time in the day. I need to clone myself.

I think joining as much network as possible is good but you just can't attend to all of them. It's better to choose the ones that satisfy your needs and stick to it.

Haha, well at least theres that. Wow talk about deja vu. I guess its not as daunting knowing its just a Blog Catalog jr. type of place.

I joined BUMPzee and I don't know what to think. It looks like a clone of BlogCatalog and Mybloglog combined. The site does not work well in Firefox and it is rather hard to navigate in IE. "Sigh"

I have BUMPzee, K... and I think I like it the least... just because it's jut not as visually appealing to me, and it's not as easy to move through the system as it is here... blogcatalog has spoiled me.

    Hi,

I'm on Bumpzee as well, but at the moment, my profile details, in particular the blog thumbnail image and my RSS Feeds are NEVER being updated. I've put in a request for the updates twice in the last couple of months, and I've got No replies or actions since. So, I don't know what to think...

Well, I joined Bumpzee but haven't done much there. I did join the U.S. blog community. Since then, some of those people have posted an HTML widget blogroll, so now I'm getting some unexpected backlinks. Wasn't my plan, and I can't say it will lead to traffic, since the sites in question don't seem to have anything in common with mine.

I have had some decent success networking on Bumpzee. I like the specificity of the groups you can join and have gotten a steady stream of traffic but I am fairly active.

I'm still on Bumpzee. The investment is minimal. The conversation is a bit slow-paced, so one visit a day is about it for me. A tiny bit of traffic through the process, but I'm not sure that's the point. You might like their community feature. I've tried to start one for tumblelogs. Only two blogs so far, but gotta start somewhere.

Bumpzee has not worked for me - very slow and can't log in half the time. I am sticking with a few i like. not wasting time with bumpzee.

    Hi!
I'm there too. It's been only a few days ago. I have to wait and see.
I hope you have a good result. Happy surfing!

    Best Regards,

Yeah, I as well have some experience with bumpzee. Bumpzee is as much effective as blogcatalog and mybloglog kind of communities are

Is BumpZee even maintained anymore? They haven't posted an update to the company blog since October 15,2007-- their widgets still don't seem to work very well with blogspot-- there seems to have been no tweaks of anything. At least when one looks at BC or MBL or Digg it's obvious that the respective companies are making efforts to improve the service on a regular basis.

I agree on the widgets for blogspot. I removed mine last week because it slows down the load time.

I went to BZ and checked the forums-- as near as I could tell, everyone who was still there was also complaining that the entire BZ team seems to have left the building months ago but left the servers running. So I got tired of waiting for them to fix the widgets and just deleted them from my page.

Judging my google analytics, I probably haven't gotten any traffic from BZ since this past autumn.

I joined. Not sure why. Just seemed like something fun to do. I was just talking on the phone and mindlessly clicking away...next thing I knew it, I was on BumpZee. - Nards

I joined, but I never use it. It doesn't do much of anything.

I think it depends on how you use it;I mean, you have to know how to interact between the social networks. I'm at least getting some traffic.

i wanted to give BumpZee a try but it seems you need to have an invite code in order to join.

The BumpZee company blog announced back in June that they were taking a number of features offline because they were being abused by spammers-- and that they would be giving the site an overhaul in the future-- I'd not bother with BZ until the problems are fixed.

In the mean time, I have found that pijoo.com has some interesting features and low spam.
