Busiest day ever!!!

OK, I know that for some of you who get thousands of clicks a day, the following number might come across as laughable, but not to me. To me, it's HUGE.

I started blogging a little over a year ago. At the end of December 2007, I wrote my first post.
It got 3 hits.
Then in March 2008, I wrote another one. Then another one, then starting to write "recaps" of American Idol.That's when I started to get into blogging a lot more.
Last April, I reached my record: 116 hits in one day. Yowser! I'd hit fame. Not. Never happened again, not even close.

Anyway, it took me ten months, but today, I FINALLY beat that record, and got 140!
Might sound stupid, but I've been ridiculously happy about it all day.

So don't get discouraged (I should take note of this wise advice myself), I know what it's like to get 5 hits a day for months in end.

Hopefully, I won't have to wait another 10 months to make it to 160.

I hope I'm not coming across as an obnoxious braggy A-hole, I'm just really happy about it and I'm feeling proud of myself - a rather rare occurence. Take it as an encouragement, because if I can do it, you certainly can too!

Hey, ferret lady, whaddaya mean by *hilarious*?

Is *hilarious* better than good old plain hilarious (without the star-shaped thingies on either side, I mean)?

And what's the deal with these creatures on your blog? Are they trying to hypnotize us or something?
If that is your goal, they deserve a treat cos I was messing around with them for about 10-15 minutes!

But yeah, it did make me feel really good!

Only 20 less, Ankit? Wanna engage in a merciless, bloody and possibly lethal light-weights competition?

TT can be the referee, and Sunny will feed the loser to her ferrets.

I was blogging about videogames in a certain website and I really get no page views or just one comment per day. It's sad but I worked hard for it. Later on, I receive like 20-30 comments a day. But that's because the site is very active and we all share the same interest: videogames. My posts go from 30 to 150 comments. Now with my Blogger account, I'm starting from scratch and I'll work hard just to get to the top! I now have some experience so it would be hopefully, easier.

I know how it feels hitting a big number. So I congratulate you and more awesome blogs to come!

Sorry for bumping this, I just wanted to thank you guys for the encouraging words.
I have been knocked on my ass for the past week by either the flu or a really evil cold, and I have barely glanced at BC, or my blog for that matter.
Some of you left me comments, reviews, etc, and I thank you very much. I will reciprocate as soon as I can. I'm catching up little by little, it might take me a while, but I'll get to everyone eventually.

I just didn't want to come across as some unappreciative snot, hence my bumping this.

And for the record, my hits have gone back to the more modest numbers that I'm accustomed to. I knew it wouldn't last, lol!
I'll have to come up with a new controversial topic...
