If I had the option, I'd choose not to have that in use with my profile, because I never lose internet connection, and my line is connected 24/7 and on that much too, so even when I wouldn't be on the computer, it'd show I was online. That wouldn't do me any good. lol

I wouldn't like that feature either, because I never logout, it's just easier that way and it would look like I never leave the computer!

if you go to the profile, you can get a pretty good idea if the person is online or not - despite what tonyB says Most people don't log out when arriving here - unless they are lurkers and surfers and not bloggers anyway.

In that case - that's what IM and email is for ... "Hey Joe! Are you online now?"
